DAV volunteers drive sick and disabled veterans to and from VA medical facilities for treatment. The Transportation Network is a clear example of veterans helping veterans. The van operates Monday through Thursday leaving the Harker Heights DAV at 6:30 am and making stops at Copperas Cove Wal Mart, Killeen Bus Station and on to VA. All pasengers must provide an appointment slip and a VA card. 11am it is in route back to the locations of pick up.
